Artic Animals

Okay, who else feels like there is just not enough time in the day.  I had a three day weekend and I am actually more tired right now than I was this time last week.  Let’s see my day: I got to school early to finish a couple of things that I needed for today, I had the wonderful (just kidding) PLC meeting (we won’t say more than that) and then this afternoon I attended my graduate class.  So tired is an understatement.  Anyway I did make a few new things for next week to go with Deanna Jump’s Artic Animal unit that I will be using with the kids.

Vowel Sorts

Hi all, I hope you had a restful enjoyable holiday season and are ready to get back to your classrooms and daily routines.  I have been working on some vowel sorts for my classroom kids.  I was thinking that I would use these over the next couple of weeks with the kids.  My right now plan is a vowel a week and focus on several word families that go with that vowel.  We will see after this week if it works.  I will let you know.  Anyway here are a few vowel sorts I have been working on so far.
