April Plantings
Well we are back from Spring Break and the weather is finally warm or should I say warmer. Anyway the kids did enjoy being outside on the playground for the first time in what seems like forever. By this afternoon you could tell that the sleeping in late and staying up late was beginning to get to them and I had a hard time keeping them engaged and alert (part of it was probably me feeling the same way if I have to be honest)
So we are going to be spending the next few weeks learning about plants, flowers and how they grow. There will be the end of the year testing mixed in with our plant unit but hopefully the interest in the science topic will help get us through the next few weeks with testing and spring fever. That being said I have begun to create a few activities for the kids in my class. I have posted them below for you all. I hope your class likes them as well.

WOW March is half over -Crazy
Hi all I know I haven’t posted in a long time but like many of you things have been the
typical crazy. I am in graduate school
working on my Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Technology, between this and school there
just never seems to be enough time.
Anyone else know this feeling.
Well that being said I have made a couple of things that I would
like to share with you all. You might
not be able to use them this year but please feel free to save them for next
year.
Hope your kids will enjoy them as much as mine do.

Artic Animals
Okay, who else feels like there is just
not enough time in the day. I had a
three day weekend and I am actually more tired right now than I was this time
last week. Let’s see my day: I got to school
early to finish a couple of things that I needed for today, I had the wonderful (just kidding) PLC meeting (we won’t say more than that) and then this afternoon I attended my graduate
class. So tired is an
understatement. Anyway I did make a few
new things for next week to go with Deanna Jump’s Artic Animal unit that I will be using with the
kids.
Here are the activities that I worked
on to go with the theme. I hope you can
find them useful in your classroom as well.
